Youth and Family Services division has a highly accomplished and passionate team who are proud to offer a range of services designed to meet diverse needs and promote overall well-being. We work with youth and young adults ages 4-24 and their families to support their behavioral health needs. We also offer support to pregnant and parenting families with children from ages 0-5 in our early childhood and parenting education programs. Some of our specialty services include:

  • Co-Occurring Substance Use and Mental Health Care: This service focuses on individuals who face both substance use and mental health conditions. While both substance use and mental health treatment are available independently, by addressing both aspects concurrently, we aim to provide more effective and lasting solutions for recovery.

  • Healthy Start: This service is aimed at supporting expecting and new parents with a child between 0-5 years old. Healthy Start focuses on promoting the well-being of both parents and children, ensuring that families get off to a strong, healthy beginning.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): DBT is a highly effective treatment for individuals experiencing intense emotions and dysregulated behaviors. It combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices to help clients develop healthier coping strategies.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy: EMDR is a specialized therapy designed to alleviate distress associated with traumatic memories. It is particularly beneficial for individuals dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related conditions.

If you or anyone you know are interested in learning more about our services or connecting with one of our amazing team members, contact us at 425.392.6367 or via email at clientservices@friendsofyouth.org. We accept Apple Health, most private insurance, and self-pay options for our services. We also provide sliding-scale payment options for those who qualify. We believe that finances should never be a barrier to accessing supportive care, so a number of our services are also offered at no cost to the youth and families who receive them.

If covering the cost of services is a concern for you, please let us know and we will be happy to discuss options.
