Friends of Youth is committed to ensuring quality program services so that youth have every opportunity to achieve success and experience zero days of vulnerability.
To support this important work, we undergo an extensive quality audit from the Council on Accreditation, a third-party entity that helps human service agencies maintain a certain level of quality and care for our employees, clients, and communities.
This intensive process involves compiling policies, procedures, and documents, which are then assessed and revised by the Council on Accreditation (COA) to ensure best practices for quality care and services are being utilized. Peer reviewers from COA who assess the day-to-day implementation of these standards at Friends of Youth sites are social service providers with extensive experience in their fields.
Achieving accreditation indicates our agency provides high-quality services in line with the standards put forth by COA.
