Friends of Youth COVID-19 Update

Each of us has been impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Whether you are working remotely, juggling childcare for kids home from school, or searching for household staples, the pandemic is reshaping our daily lives. Our hearts are with you during this challenging time.

As a mission-centered agency, our highest priority is being accessible to our youth. Our Emergency Shelters, Drop-In and Residential facilities remain open to our clients. All other Friends of Youth facilities are closed to the public through April 24, 2020.

The health, safety, and welfare of our Friends of Youth community, clients, and staff continues to be of paramount importance. We are closely monitoring the evolving landscape and are following all federal, state, and county guidelines to help curb the spread of the virus.

We appreciate your kindness, and consideration as we navigate this ‘new’ normal. While we may be unsure of what the next weeks will bring, there is one thing of which we are certain—we’ll get by with help from our friends.
