Safe Place & Crisis Hotline
Ages 12-17
Safe Place — a 24-hour, free, confidential crisis hotline and emergency shelter referral service. There are 2,100 official Safe Place sites, including all King County Library locations, Metro buses, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

affordable & transitional housing
Affordable Housing — Access to green, energy-efficient apartment community for young adults earning at or below 30%, 50%, and 80% of area median income. Ages 18-24
Bridge Housing (up to 90 days) — Housing for young adults transitioning from inpatient to outpatient living. Ages 18–24
Financial Assistance — Assisting young adults navigating substance use disorder with emergency rental assistance to stay housed
Housing Navigation — Partnering with young adults experiencing homelessness to find housing
Rapid Rehousing — Guiding young families to obtain and maintain housing and access short-term rental assistance. Ages 18-24
Tenant Advising & Support (supportive housing) — Assisting housed young adults and families with on-site case management. Ages 18–24
Transitional Living Programs — Access to safe housing, case management, counseling, and life skills support for young adults, pregnant and parenting mothers, parenting families, and their children. Ages 18–24

Mental Health Counseling — Individual and family counseling, and group sessions. Ages 4–24
Substance Use Counseling — A supportive, caregiver-and-family approach to substance use. Ages 12-24
Counseling Groups — Small groups, built around shared experience — a space to build skills and connect with others who understand.
Employment Services — Comprehensive employment and job-readiness services for young adults. Ages 18–24
Healthy Start — Enriching child and family development for pregnant and/or parenting families with children under age 5 through an evidenced-based curriculum, individual and community support, and more.
Youth Engagement Team — Helping youth who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness navigate life challenges, backed by case managers, housing navigators, therapists, and lawyers. Ages 12–17
