Position Title

    Wraparound Program Manager (aka Coach)

Description

   The Wraparound Program Manager provides oversight and direction to the
    Wraparound/WISe Delivery Team. The Program Manager supervises the WISe
    Coordinators and the Family Partner Lead. The Program Manager ensures that all
    Wraparound/WISe program staff deliver services that adhere to the National
    Wraparound Initiative (NWI), the Washington State WISe Manual, and the
    Washington State Children’s Behavioral Health Principles.

Responsibilities

    A. Supervisory Tasks
        1. Provide structured observation and feedback for staff during all phases
        of Wraparound, along with a structured feedback tool/process that is linked to     
        specific skills and competencies within the principles and phases of        
        Wraparound/WISe to further develop staff skills.
        2. Provide a minimum of three hours per week of supervision to facilitators and family
        partners, individually and in groups.
        3. Implement individual professional development plans for facilitators and family
        partners to build and sustain their skills.
    B. Program Planning and Development Tasks
        1. Provide direction regarding assignment of youth and families to teams
        of facilitators and family partners.
        2. Assist in developing and sustaining effective partnerships with all King County
        mental health agencies and with allied systems.
        3. Ensure that the program model is implemented and consistent with the Principles
        and Phases of high fidelity Wraparound the WISe manual.
    C. Tasks Management
        1. Review data outcomes, fidelity assessments, and other forms of feedback to
        inform individual and group supervision.
        2. Participate in the County's fidelity monitoring and program evaluation activities.

    D. Community Relations Tasks
        1. Attend Community Resource Team (CRT) meetings on a monthly basis.
        2. Attend bi-monthly coaches meetings with BHRD Wraparound Specialists.

Required Skills and Qualifications

    A.    Education and Experience
        1. Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family or related
        counseling field-preferred.
        2. Fully licensed in mental health, social work, or marriage and family therapy-preferred.
        3. Qualified as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) in Washington State or eligible to become qualified as such-preferred.
        4. A minimum of three years of experience working with youth and families at
        the professional level.
        5. Experience in a supervisory/managerial role strongly desired.
        6. Employees and volunteers who operate their own or Friends of Youth vehicles
        on Friends of Youth business must have a safe driving record as defined by
        Friends of Youth.  Employees and volunteers who operate their own vehicle(s)
        on Friends of Youth business must carry auto liability insurance that complies
        with the requirements of Friends of Youth.
    B. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
        1. Knowledge of High Fidelity Wraparound and/or WISe programming and services strongly desired.
        2. Knowledge of treatment methods for crisis intervention, individual, group and
        family therapy.
        3. Knowledge of adolescent development and youth crisis
        4. Experience with budgets and/or grants preferred.
        5. Ability to develop and maintain community resources.
        6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
        7. Knowledge of relevant COA standards and participation in a Performance and     
        Quality Improvement process.
        8. Able to engage with diverse populations in a culturally responsive manner.
        9. Demonstrate a commitment to the values of equity and inclusion by honoring
        and celebrating diverse characteristics and expressions of personal identity.

Salary

    $57-59,000 / year
