Position Title

    Wraparound Facilitator


    While working closely with youth and their families, the Wraparound Facilitator
    convenes a team to provide prevention and intervention services to children, youth,
    families, and communities.  For more information about WISe, click here.


    1. Engage youth and families in the wraparound process
    2. Facilitate child and family team meetings until no longer needed by the family,
    guiding the team process and serving as the central point of communication.
    3. Complete strengths, needs, and cultural discovery with each youth and family
    4. Complete the CANs assessments/reviews as indicated in the WISe manual
    5. Assist in development of individualized, cross system care plans
    6. Monitor and review care plans for progress
    7. Serve 10-12 youth and families per month (per facilitator)
    8. Attend the Community Resource Team meetings as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

    A. Education and Experience
        1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling
        2. Experience working in a behavioral health setting and/or with children, youth
        and their families strongly desired.
        3. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to work independently,
        prioritize, organize and work on multiple tasks.
        4. Ability to obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor credential in accordance with
        WAC 246-810.
        6. Experience in facilitation or group work.
        7. Employees and volunteers who operate their own or Friends of Youth vehicles
        on Friends of Youth business must have a safe driving record as defined by
        Friends of Youth. Employees and volunteers who operate their own vehicle(s)
        on Friends of Youth business must carry auto liability insurance that complies
        with the requirements of Friends of Youth.

    B. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
        1. Ability to work in community settings.
        2. Ability to identify and develop community resources.
        3. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
        4. Ability to read, write and speak in English.
        5. Knowledge of relevant WAC and COA standards and participation in the
        Performance Quality Improvement process.
        6. Able to engage with diverse populations in a culturally responsive manner.
        7. Demonstrate a commitment to the values of equity and inclusion by honoring
        and celebrating diverse characteristics and expressions of personal identity.


    Full Time


   $21.91 - 23.92 / hour DOE
