Position Title

    Wraparound Coordinator


    The Wraparound Coordinator provides support, coaching and direction to the work
    of the Child & Family Teams and serves as a facilitator for up to five (5) youth.
    Coordinator participates in supporting the wraparound team through shared coverage
    of 24/7 phone on a rotating basis. For more information about WISe, click here.


    1. Assist in the assignment of youth and families to facilitators.
    2. Provide opportunities for facilitators to observe the lead facilitating Child and
    Family Team meetings or other engagement activities.
    3. Provide consultation for facilitators to:
        a. monitor for accurate and timely documentation
        b. problem solve barrier experienced in child and family team meetings and/or
        with other providers.
        c. identify on-going training needs
    4. Meet weekly or bi-monthly with the coach to help inform the team coaching
        plan and address system challenges.
    5. Attend the CRT meetings on a monthly basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

    A.  Education and Experience
        1. Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family or related    
        counseling field preferred.
        2. Experience working with Wraparound services strongly desired.
        3. Experience working with children, youth, and families.
        4. Experience in leading groups, trainings, and workshops preferred.
        5. Employees and volunteers who operate their own or Friends of Youth
        vehicles on Friends of Youth business must have a safe driving record as
        defined by Friends of Youth.  Employees and volunteers who operate their own
        vehicle(s) on Friends of Youth business must carry auto liability insurance that
        complies with the requirements of Friends of Youth.

    B.  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
        1. Knowledge of treatment approaches for youth and families experiencing
        significant and multi-system challenges.
        2. Crisis intervention skills.
        3. Knowledge of group process.
        4. Ability to develop and monitor goal-directed treatment relationships.
        5. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including skills of
        public speaking.
        6. Ability to identify and develop community resources.
        7. Knowledge of relevant COA standards and participation in a Performance
        and Quality Improvement process.
        8. Able to engage with diverse populations in a culturally responsive manner.
        9. Demonstrate a commitment to the values of equity and inclusion by honoring
        and celebrating diverse characteristics and expressions of personal identity.  


    Full Time


   $22.54 - 25.00 / hour DOE
